Ériu, a member of the de Danann Warrior tribe and who gave her name to the Gaelic name for Ireland -Éire. She was a queen and patron goddess of Ireland. Her name is meant to mean the land of abundance, earth, soil, a personification of the island of Ireland and a source of pride to the Irish throughout the world. A true work of art, a burr Elm cremation Urn for ashes, turned with a level of care and detail rarely found. This totally unique piece combines with six Ebony Pegs to attach to steam bent and scorched Ash tree legs and topped with a Celtic Shield lid. This is a cremation Urn that will always be with the family throughout the generations to come. The color of each piece is enhanced by oiling multiple times to really bring out the natural grain and depth of color and some elements of his work allow him to use a scorched timer or bleached wood to further enhance his creations. Our artisan carefully selects and drys his own wood as Seamus insists on taking responsibility for the quality of each piece from tree to its final home.

His unique sculptural pieces sometimes use textured, bleached and scorched woods, gold, metals, leather, glass. Favored techniques include steam bending, texturing, and fine polishing.
