Tree of Memories & €40 to LauraLynn
Description
When you want to offer comfort and support to a family member or friend, it can be hard to find a gift that feels right.
Planting a native Irish tree as a legacy to a loved one is a beautiful and powerful gesture. It is a special tribute to their legacy that is as unique as it is meaningful. Memory trees allow us to
express our grief and offer comfort in a profound way that goes beyond mere words.
The tree planted will also provide a number of crucial benefits to the environment, helping to keep the air clean, improve the soil and provide food and shelter to various wildlife.
Now, you can make the gift of a memory tree even more meaningful. When you plant a memory tree, you can also make a donation to
LauraLynn, Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice. There is no better way of honouring a loved one than contributing to such a noble and important charity in their name. This caring act means that the memory of your loved one will live on in the kindest, thoughtful and generous manner.
No gift could possibly better express your clove and thoughfulness than one that both honours the life of your loved one and helps children in need.
Framing Service also available for €32 including The Frame, Mounting, Padded packaging, Tracked postage, and same day dispatch.

The poignant symbol of the tree itself, its myriad of benefits to the local environment, and the charitable donation to such a worthy cause is the best possible tribute to someone.
LauraLynn - Ireland's Only Children's Hospice
LauraLynn is a hospice for children with life-limiting conditions and residential care for children and young adults with disabilities. Their aim is to make the most of short and precious lives and their vision is to make every day meaningful, fun, and enjoyable for those in their care. All their invaluable work is underpinned by their values of Compassion, Collaboration and Excellence.
The Hospice first began in 1923 as a convalescence home for children from the inner city and has evolved over the many years to the opening in 2011 of LauraLynn House, a dedicated eight-bed children’s palliative care unit. On a 3.6-acre site, in addition to LauraLynn House, there is also Hazel House, Holly Oaks, and Willow View, which were formerly known collectively as Children’s Sunshine Home. Funding for the buildings and their everyday operations is provided by the HSE and generous donors.
''LauraLynn are honored to partner with Irish Urn's Memorial Tree initiative this year. Planting a tree in memory of a loved one is a very compassionate act that lasts a lifetime, and we are so grateful that this kind act will also support the work that we do here in Ireland's only children's hospice. Creating lasting memories and moments is a huge part of what we do in LauraLynn, making this a lovely way for people to support the specialized care and support which we provide to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across Ireland.''
Kerry McLaverty – CEO, LauraLynn
LauraLynn's ultimate mission is to provide a Community of Care that delivers evidence-based, personalised services to children with palliative care needs, complex care needs, and complex disabilities, while also providing family support services and a home to residents where quality-of-life is paramount.

Planting Process
When you place your order to plant a memorial tree you can choose the type of tree you wish to have planted from a selection of eight native Irish trees. All the memorial trees are planted on 10 acres of beautiful, picturesque lakeside woodland located in North County Dublin, near the small village of Naul.
We plant three flowering bulbs for each memorial tree planted, and the c. 2,000 tree woodland is surrounded by 1.5 million wildflowers and pollinated by our 10,000 bees.
The Google Earth position of the memorial tree planted is included in all our official Planting Certificates and the area can be viewed online.
Once the memorial tree has been planted, it will be lovingly and expertly watered and tended to by our caretakers who will ensure it grows to be strong, healthy and long-lasting.
Certification
After the purchase has been made, you will be emailed a digital version of the Certificate. We will also post our official planting certificate, which is customised and personalised to match the occasion at checkout, to your chosen delivery address. It will be accompanied by a handwritten card that echoes the sentiment you chose for the Certificate.
You can have as many planting certificates issued for your memorial tree as you wish, if reasonable.
These personalised, visually pleasing certificates can be framed and hung, to serve as a handsome reminder of this unique and poignant sympathy gift.
We also provide trees for a number of other occasions such as
anniversaries,
weddings and the
birth of a child and we can create a certificate for
any other need, eg a Thank You tree gift, a Retirement tree gift, etc.
Just ask by emailing us on bob@irishtree.ie
