Wear a piece of jewelry that allows you to keep your loved one close to your heart.

This design was inspired by the Ancient Irish Celtic Tri spiral symbol. This particular design is the interpretation of the Newgrange Triskele.

The Triskele gained popularity in its use within the Celtic culture from 500BC onwards and can be seen on the entrance stone to Newgrange, a 5000-year-old Passage Tomb famous for the Winter Solstice illumination.

There is no definitive meaning behind the triskele, and symbolists, people skilled in the interpretation of symbols, believe it reflects many areas of culture from the time, the most popular being life-death-rebirth.

Triskeles evoke the Celtic interpretation of the three realms of material existence: earth, water, and sky (and all their interconnections). The symbol is also thought to represent the three worlds: spiritual, physical, and celestial.

Another theory suggests that the triskele represents reincarnation, as it consists of one continuous line that could be analogous to the unbroken movement of time.

In this context, it represents the process of constantly moving forward from pre-birth, life, and death, each connected for eternity.

One customer describes what Maura’s Pendant meant…  “The most meaningful piece of jewelry they own”.

Maura says " What I create brings positive emotional energy to the wearer and a real connection with the person who has been lost. I want what I do to matter, help, and heal”

Maura is very emotionally aware of how her work helps people. “The work I do now is special because I help the families keep their loved ones near. I get so much satisfaction from creating…I know it’s good for my soul, their soul, and the soul of so many families”

How it works:

Incorporating a tiny amount of your loved ones' cremated ashes into sterling silver, these pieces are designed to keep loved ones close and help with the healing process.

We will only require a tiny piece of Ash ( less than a quarter of a teaspoon) full details will be provided when ordering.

When the ashes are received we will add the ashes gently and evenly to the silver and will cast each piece individually.

After casting we will polish the piece and the nature of the process means that some of the Ash texture will be apparent. See images.

As each piece is unique, there will be slight differences from the piece shown in the photos. But that in itself makes the process even more special.

Each pendant comes with a 24 inch Silver Belcher chain and the clasp allows for setting the necklace high or low depending on the outfit worn.

How long does it take? From the time the ashes arrive to dispatch is between 1-2 weeks. Shipping is included in the price and all items will be sent via registered post.

Maura believes in connecting with the person whose ashes are being incorporated into the Silver piece and has a chat with them to explain what she will do and how the ashes will be honored in the future in a new form.
