- Fill the lower capsule with the ashes of a loved-one.
- Mix the components with the chosen seed in the upper capsule.
- Close the urn and plant it 3 to 5 cm (1 to 2 inches) from the surface of the soil.
- The Bios Urn and ashes become part of nature as the tree grows.
More advise on Placing the Remains
The Bios Urn works with any kind of seed or seedling! There are literally no exceptions. You can therefore use your own by sourcing it directly yourself, and choose a tree which is sentimental and meaningful to you. Fruit trees, flowering trees, evergreens or conifers are all completely compatible. That said, it is important to choose a native tree species or one which is common / suitable to your location, to respect the ecological balance and ensure better growth.
